
Michael Hornblow is a performance artist from New Zealand, now living in Melbourne, with a background in dance and film and a focus on the relationship between the body and the constructed environment.
Mike has produced and presented film, video, installation and performance works, in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, North Africa and the US. This year he participated in a performance research intensive with Butoh Master Ko Murobushi in New York, co-curated and presented work at BB08.01 in Melbourne, and recently returned from Indonesia where he collaborated on a dance video-installation with Sean O’Brien, Tony Yap and Agung Gunawan.
